No Man’s Sky was originally supposed to release on the Nintendo Switch a little earlier, but Hello Games needs a little more time to perfect the new port, so the game’s release has been pushed back to October.
Hello Games confirmed this week that the release of No Man’s Sky for Nintendo Switch has been pushed back from its original “summer” release date to October 7.
No Man’s Sky on Switch will include all of the free add-ons that Hello Games has released over the years. From its launch in 2016 until now, Hello Games has been releasing annual gameplay updates, adding in-demand features and other improvements to the game.
No Man’s Sky had a rough start, but it eventually became one of the most beloved space survival games. The Nintendo Switch isn’t the only platform where No Man’s Sky will make its first appearance this year: an iOS and Mac version of the game is also on the way.
No Man’s Sky is worth buying if you’ve never played it before. If you prefer to play it on PC at a higher frame rate, you can find the game on sale right now during the Steam summer sale.
