Overwatch 2 is getting closer and closer to its official launch, and Blizzard does not stop giving new touches of information while preparing the arrival of its new beta, in which we will be able to test and see several new aspects of the title, such as its new character. And it’s all about characters, since Overwatch 2 director talks about the lack of new heroes.
In a Reddit AMAthe game director Aaron Keller comments that the development of the sequel was split into two parts: one for the PvE part of the game, and one for the PVP part.so that when the game hit the stores, the studio would have all the proposed content developed and polished. Keller also confirms that it is not that there are more heroes/heroines saved without being shown, but that they have to be created first.

Keller and the rest of the development team at Blizzard want to prove that the sequel is a worthy successor to the original title, and it really shows in their words. Now comes the hardest part, convincing and pleasing the long-awaited fans of the title.and that a priori, are not very convinced with the content that the game will bring at launch.
