Pokémon Unite. recently added a new mechanic to the game called Boost Emblems. Similarly The rune system at play League of LegendsEmblems are small medal-like items that increase pokémon stats and include bonus effects that increase stats such as a pokémon’s attack speed or its resistance to crowd control. In this Pokémon Unite tutorial, we’ll explain how to get Boost emblems, how they work, and how to use them.

How to get Boost emblems in Pokémon Unite

You can get Boost emblems in two different ways:

  • Season Pass.
  • Energy Rewards.

The Season Pass rewards players with different items each time they level up. These rewards include items such as Eos tickets, item enhancers, and enhancement emblems.. To boost their Season Pass, players can play as many matches as possible so that they can get boost emblems. This method is not recommended, as most of the emblems awarded for the Season Pass are rather weak and rare.

Another (preferred) way to get Boost emblems is through the Energy Rewards system. Each time the player completes a quest, he receives “energy”. If there is enough energy, the player can get a random Boost Emblem. There is 88% chance to get a Bronze Emblem Along with 10% chance of getting a silver emblem и 2% chance of getting a gold emblem. Players should remember to log in daily, as the first energy reward of the day is free!

How Boost Emblems Work in Pokémon Unite

Emblems have two effects on Pokémon, which include their ‘singular’ effects. and their “color group” effects. Each individual emblem has two changes to the pokémon’s stats: one change decreases the pokémon’s stats and the other increases them. If more rare, the amount of stat reduction/increase in the emblem will be more.

For example. Bulbasaur bronze emblem Decreases pokemon’s health by 30, but gives 1.5 special attacks in return, silver Bulbasaur emblem Decreases pokemon’s health by 40, in return giving 2.5 special attacks. Golden Bulbasaur Emblem Reduces the pokémon’s health by 50, giving 3 special attacks in return. These individual emblem effects can change the following stats:

  • HP
  • Attack
  • Defense
  • Sp. Attack
  • Sp. Defense
  • Speed
  • Critical hit rate

Currently, these individual effects have very little effect on Pokémon. Therefore, priority should be given to color group bonuses, as the most notable of these stats is critical hit rate. Characters with high attack, such as Absol и Cinderella get a lot of benefit out of it.

Other effects are “color group” effects. Each emblem is assigned one or two color effects. When a pokémon is assigned multiple emblems of a certain color, it receives a certain bonus. Reinforcement emblem effects include the following:

Color Quantity Special effect
x2 +1% sp. Atk
Green x4 +2% sp. Atk
x6 +4% Sp. Atk
x3 +4% movement speed out of combat
Yellow x5 +6% movement speed out of combat
x7 +12% movement speed out of combat
x3 +2% attack speed
Red x5 +4% attack speed
x7 +8% attack speed
x2 +2% protection
Blue x4 +4% protection
x6 +8% protection
x2 +1% HP
White x4 +2% HP
x6 +4% HP
x3 +2% turn delay time reduction
Black x5 +4% turn delay reduction
x7 +8% turn delay time reduction
x2 +1% attack
Orange x4 +2% attack
x6 +4% attack
x2 +2% sp. Def
Purple x4 +4% Sp. Def
x6 +8% sp. Def
x3 -4% interference effect duration
Pink x5 -8% interference effect duration
x7 -16% interference effect duration

Duplicate emblems do not count towards the color bonuses. Players must remember that more bonuses are given for using more emblems of each color in a row. Therefore, sometimes it is better to use more colors than to balance color bonuses.

Reinforcement Emblems: How to Improve

In our guide to Pokémon Unite boost emblems, we also discuss how they can be improved if there are three copies of them of the same rarity, along with 100 Eos Coins.. For example, three bronze emblems and 100 Eos coins can merge into a silver emblem, and 100 Eos coins with 3 silver emblems will merge into a gold emblem.

Merging into a gold emblem may not always be successful. If it fails, the emblems will be returned, but the Aeos coins will remain spent. Reinforcement emblems can be improved by performing the following actions:

  • Players must go to the trainer profile, then select “Pokémon Boost Emblems”.
  • They can highlight an emblem in the collection by selecting it.
  • They can click the refresh button in the lower right corner.

Pokémon Unite Boost Emblems: Build Examples

Below are three sample builds that give you an idea of which emblems to use. The first build is an example of the standard special attacker build. This build is the most useful at the moment because the reduced delay time provided by black emblems, combined with high special attacks, allows pokémon such as Delphox or Pikachu to become powerful.

The second build is an example of the standard physical attacker build. This build focuses less on color bonuses and more on increasing the critical hit rate, as it provides greater benefit to characters that rely on basic attack, such as Cinderella и Greninja.

The third build is an example of a standard tank build. This build focuses on increasing HP through color bonuses, as white emblems give a large amount of health. Purple emblems are used against the frequent use of special attacks in the current meta, with some special protection.

Final Thoughts.

Players hope that this guide can provide some insight into how to use these new emblems! Players look forward to developing this system over time and the many interesting ways these emblems will be used in the metagame!
