The Police Simulator development team has come a long way in 13 months, adding a bunch of features, several locations and vehicles. Recently, more and more listening to the community has been creating fan-pleasing features, and now the moment has come when the simulator is ready to leave the early access stage, and move to a full-fledged release.

According to the creators, they initially wanted to stay in Steam early access for no more than a year, but they were somewhat late in doing so. However, all this time the game has been gaining new features in the form of co-op, free patrol, and modifications. Plus, a full-fledged release will accompany the project’s release on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series/One consoles. The developers noted that this year they have received a lot of requests with wishes to quickly see the game on consoles.

Coming out of early access doesn’t change much; updates continue to be actively developed by the studio, and soon the creators will publish changes to the seventh update. They noted that the early access exit will open the possibility of buying the new Early Access Definitive Hyper Premium Extended Edition. Details about the edition will be revealed in a few months.

At this time, the creators don’t know the exact release date for the Early Access edition. It may be announced at Gamescom.

However, there will still be some changes. The price will be slightly higher, the project will require $29.99, whereas now it’s only $24.99. Note that those who bought the title earlier won’t have to pay anything extra, and won’t lose anything. But getting a bonus is a sacred thing. All early access buyers will get the Urban Terrain Vehicle, but after, you can buy it for $3. And now the creators are leaving to work on new additions to make money on the project.
