The mobile battle royale game, PUBG: NEW STATE, which was launched last November, is being rebranded by KRAFTON. The word “PUBG” has been removed from the game’s title, and the project is now known as NEW STATE MOBILE. Changes are already visible on the game’s official website and via social media.
Several fans speculated that the decision was made because the studio was working on a PC version of the game, but a KRAFTON official disputed this theory, saying that NEW STATE will remain a mobile-only project.
The makers of NEW STATE MOBILE previously published a video detailing the major changes in the January patch 0.9.23, which kicked off the game’s first season.
