The developer of the legendary strategy game Company of Heroes is celebrating its 25th anniversary and has released a re-release of Armor of Heroes, which, by the way, is available for free to anyone who has registered on the site. For the first time the toy was released in honor of the 60th anniversary of Sega, then it was distributed for a limited time. Today, any user has the opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of the old games.

Armor of Heroes or AOF is an arcade game for 1-4 players. Users take control of a World War II tank. The developers have created as many as nine modes, and even such exotic ones as “King of the Mountain” and “Last man standing”. Of course, the usual battle against everyone else is also here. There are four maps in the game.

Relic has now moved far ahead with the Company of Heroes franchise. At the moment, the developers are working on the third part of the legendary RTS strategy game, dedicated to the times of WW2. COH3 takes players back to the German occupation of Italy.

The creators often release notes in their diary, for example they recently showed off the destruction in the game. In brief, you can destroy almost the entire map – by breaking a building, you can damage the enemy and create a shelter for yourself. Well, it’s really a huge step forward compared to the second part of the strategy.
