Road to Valor: Empires is a strategy game developed by Dreamotion Inc. In this game, you will fight other players in the world by commanding them through the units you choose to achieve glory on the battlefield. In this Road to Valor: Empires Beginners Guide, we are going to do a detailed walkthrough of the game, and explain its basics with additional tips and tricks.
Gameplay Overview
Road to Valor: Empires is about mythical heroes or legends like Athena, the goddess of war, Odin, the king of Asgard, Medusa, Manticore, Achilles, and even Valkyrie. These will be divided into three main factions, there are Persian, Roman, and Norman. Of the many units, you need to set a unique and precise strategy, because the better your strategy, the easier it is to achieve victory
If you’ve ever played clash royale, then you can also play this game, because the gameplay is fairly similar, making players adapt easily. But what makes the difference when soldiers are deployed, they will appear from behind the arena, except for a few units that can come from the side of the arena.
Introducing of basics of Road to Valor: Empires
Garrison
Before you go into battle, you need to set your strategy through the units you choose from the Garrison. Here you can bring 8 units that can be deployed, plus 2 units of the guardian you are using. In this garrison, there are various units, from all factions there are also if you have these units.
Each of these units has its own MP, which is required for deploying a unit, so when you bring a high MP unit, it will take a long time to accumulate MP.
Battle
When the battle, there will be 2 side towers and the main tower. You are required to destroy the tower from the enemy, and when you can get all three towers, you will automatically win. This main tower will not attack until one of the side towers has been destroyed or the main tower is attacked by using a rain of arrows.
You will be given some MP at the beginning. When you just start a battle to deploy units, the order of these units is fairly random, so it’s not always the same order each time you play. Then for units from guardians, they have a cooldown to use and also have yellow MP.
Alliance
This alliance is a combination of players from all over the world who are in alliance with each other which contains a maximum of 50 members. Here you can chat with each other such as discuss strategies or ask for advice and this alliance can request or donate keys to each player.
Road to Valor: Empires Beginners Guide: Tips and Tricks
1. Define the Guardian
In this game, there are many guardians available, but at the beginning, you will choose one of 3 guardians, namely Caesar, Cyrus, and Beowulf. This Guardian is very useful when you want to attack on a large scale because its ability is quite good. In addition, each guardian also has a passive that can increase the stats of the units, therefore you need to consider this.
2. Set your Strategy by unit
This unit is the main point in playing the game Road to Valor: Empires. You will bring 8 units that you can deploy. We recommend bringing units in balance, such as units for defense, attack, or counterweight. From these three things you can choose several ranged units for support from behind, then in front of them, there is a melee unit, and in front of them, you can use Shield or cavalry units.
3. Managing the MP
MP is one of the things you should consider before deploying a unit. We recommend not using units with high MP at once, because the higher the MP per unit, the less often you take out units, especially when you are in a losing state, you need to wait a long time for your MP to be sufficient.
However, that doesn’t mean you have to bring all units with low MP because low MP is usually a weak unit, only suitable for support from behind or as a counterweight, therefore you need to bring a unit with low MP as support, units with high MP you can use to attack.
4. Carefully note the placement of Deployment
Placement of deploy is indeed a bit more difficult in this game than in similar games like Clash Royale, because when you deploy, they come from behind the arena, and can’t go straight to the point we want. But for sure, you have to find a good strategy first, so when you deploy units, you already understand where you have to place each unit. One way is to play more, the more often you play, the more experience you have, so when the enemy does a strategy, you can counter that strategy with the 8 units you bring.
5. Unit Upgrades
When you want to increase the strength of a unit, you can upgrade it. This is very useful when you have reached a high rank because when you upgrade, you can increase stats and can increase the unit count.
Final Thoughts
Road to Valor: Empires is a strategy game with a system similar to Clash Royale. So you must be easy to adapt when you’ve played the game.
