Break In is a Roblox game that challenges players to survive a series of home invasions. You’ll search your new house for secrets, gather supplies, and work together with your fellow survivors to fend off attacks from the villains.
Like the Five Nights at Freddy’s games, Break In takes place over multiple days. Dying at any point means you’ll have to join a new lobby and start over. Here’s everything you need to know to beat Break In.
Day One
Your first day in Break In is best spent exploring the house. Food and money can be found scattered around the house, mostly inside drawers. Food is the most important, as you’ll need it to restore your health. Money, meanwhile, can be spent at the grocery store down the street. You should also locate the attic door, which is on the second floor.
One item guaranteed to spawn inside the house is the Basement Key. It can appear in any drawer but is usually found downstairs. Take the key and use it on the padlocked door. You’ll receive a notification that the basement is too dark to enter, but you’ll be able to access it on Day Two.
Once you’ve gone through the drawers, head back downstairs and start searching for the safe. You’ll need to click each painting on the wall four times until it either stops moving or reveals the hidden safe. You’ll also want to head into one of the rooms upstairs and choose a bedroom. The best room is the one with the most players, as you’ll be safer when the house gets broken into. If you don’t choose a room, the game will assign you one at random.
Night One
The narrator will tell you to sit at the table and wait for dinner to arrive. When you hear a knock at the door, get up and open it. A delivery man will drop off pizza for the house, providing you and all players in the game with free food. Once the pizza appears on the table, click it to grab a slice. Each pizza slice has five charges and restores varying amounts of health depending on its size.
Shortly after dinner, the lights in the house will go out. Head to the living room and watch the emergency broadcast playing on the news. You’ll learn that villains are on the loose in the neighborhood, led by a character named Scary Larry. When the broadcast ends, head up to your bed and go to sleep. You’ll recover 20 energy each time you sleep.
At some point in the night, two of the three bedrooms will be attacked by villains. If you have a weapon, you can kill the villains and collect money from them. If not, you’ll have to run and jump around the room to avoid their attacks. You can use your food to recover health even while taking damage.
Day Two
On day two, head outside your bedroom and grab wooden planks from the pile on the floor. You can do this either by interacting with the pile or walking over it. You can hold ten wooden planks at a time; use them to board up all the windows inside the house. The more you board up the house, the fewer villains you’ll have to deal with later.
Though this step is optional, it’s highly recommended that you turn on the lights in the basement. Each bedroom has a desk with a laptop on it; find whichever laptop is turned on and booting up. Once the laptop is on, sit in the desk chair, and you’ll enter a minigame. In order to win the minigame, you need to find and click nine light switches hidden throughout a dark picture of the basement. You’ll only have twenty seconds, but if you succeed, the lights in the basement will turn on, and all players will be able to enter it. The basement is full of weapons and will usually have food as well.
Choose a weapon from the basement, then begin interacting with the objects lying around. The code to the safe is somewhere inside the basement and typically spawns underneath one of these objects. When you have the code, head to the first floor and open the safe. Inside will either be a pile of money or Bloxy Cola, which restores your health.
Also located inside the basement is the ladder. Pick up the ladder and take it upstairs; you’ll slowly lose energy, but once you reach the attic door, you’ll automatically drop the ladder. You can then use it to access the attic, which contains extra weapons as well as a pack of Bloxy Cola or a Pie Dish. You can use the dish to make pies, which are extra powerful food items.
Night Two
One night two rolls around, head downstairs, and sit at the dining table. The narrator will start a countdown; at the end, three randomly selected players at the table will receive a slice of pizza. You’ll want to stockpile as much food as possible, as the villains will attack again once you go to sleep. If you board up the house well, only one villain will spawn inside the room.
Day Three
Go downstairs and head to the hallway by the basement. The narrator will state that you found a broken window, triggering a cutscene with Scary Larry. He will slowly emerge from the basement, forcing you to hide somewhere. You can hide behind the drawers, in the kitchen closet, or in the living room closet. If you leave your hiding spot while Scary Larry is active, he will attack and instantly kill you.
Once Scary Larry is upstairs, run to the basement. Head down the stairs and shut the door behind you; this will allow fewer villains to break in and attack you. Like fellow Roblox survival game Evade, you’ll need to defeat each enemy and survive as long as possible. The final villain will drop a padlock on the floor, allowing you to secure the door.
Night Three
Bedrolls will spawn on the floor of the basement. Only three players will be able to sleep on night three and restore their health. As such, the players with the lowest health should be allowed to sleep. You can also use some of your food to refill your health bar. No villains will attack on night three, and you’ll skip straight to day four.
Day Four
On day four, you’ll be let out of the basement and directed to the grocery store by the narrator. The store has an assortment of useful items, though most are limited in stock. Which items you purchase depends on how much money you have, how many players are still alive, and the amount of health everyone has. Here are all the items you can buy at the grocery store:

When you leave the house, the neighborhood will be destroyed and covered in ice. Touching the ice will cause you to fall and take 15 damage. Be careful to avoid the ice and jump over it when necessary. You’ll receive a message from the narrator when it’s time to return to the house.
Night Four
On night four, another pizza delivery man arrives at the house; however, this one happens to be a villain in disguise. You should still answer the door; ignoring him will cause him to attack anyway. If you answer the door, he will still leave pizza on the table for players to collect. Once he enters the house, you’ll have to fight him.
The villain will perform a spin attack that moves him around the room. He will eventually become dizzy and stop moving, offering you the perfect opportunity to attack. You’ll have to do this multiple times, though, as he’ll quickly recover and start spinning again. Once he’s defeated, the narrator will send all players to bed for a final time. Room invasions will happen again, so be ready to fight one more wave of villains.
Day Five
On the final day of Break In, you’ll wake up to an alarm blaring from outside. You can take some time to bake pies or restore your energy with medkits, but once you leave the house, you won’t be able to return. Walk outside, and you’ll see a cutscene with Scary Larry coming out of the grocery store. He’ll chase the players down the road and into the sewer.
Inside the sewer, you’ll need to jump across a series of platforms and avoid falling into the water. If a player falls, someone else can rescue them, but both will take damage for it. Once you’ve made it across the platforms, you’ll come face-to-face with Scary Larry inside a large room. After another cutscene, the final boss battle will begin.
Like Green from Rainbow Friends, Scary Larry has a wide attack range and moves very quickly. He has three types of attacks that he can perform: he can conjure minions to fight for him, summon spikes that come up through the ground, and perform a spin attack that targets a single player. The minions are weak compared to the villains you’ve been fighting, but they may gang up on a single player. It’s best to deal with them first before attempting to attack Scary Larry. Red circles will warn you each time a spike is about to appear, so pay attention to the ground and move out of the way when necessary. The spin attack is Scary Larry’s strongest, and all players will need to keep moving in order to avoid taking damage.
After the spin attack, Scary Larry will become temporarily stunned. The player needs to wind the key on his back, which causes him to lose a heart. He has three hearts in total, so you’ll need to endure multiple waves of attacks in order to remove all of them. Once Scary Larry has been defeated, you’ll return to the neighborhood just in time to see the villains being taken in by the police.
