Sony is more than just a console manufacturer. The technology giant operates in a variety of fields, including but not limited to music, movies, television, and games, and it also makes hardware for all of these areas. According to a new report, Sony is going to announce new gaming headsets, as well as two “Perfect for PS5” gaming monitors.

91mobiles and Ronil Thakkar recently spread the word about the existence of three new gaming headsets from Sony: the INZONE H3, H7 and H9. The color scheme of the devices is fully consistent with the design of the PS5 itself: white and black colors (the H9 model has a hint of blue).

All three headsets feature 360 Spatial audio (one of the PS5’s “next-generation” features), although the H3 model can only be used with a cord. The H7 and H9 headsets are wireless and can use both Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

The headsets have subtle differences in design, but the main difference between all three models is that when you buy the H7 instead of the H3, you get wireless connectivity, and the H9 adds active noise cancellation.

Even more interesting, perhaps, is a post by Tom Henderson (via Exputer), who claims that in addition to the aforementioned headsets, Sony is also going to introduce two new “perfect for PS5” gaming monitors.

Also under the INZONE brand, Sony will offer two completely different monitor models. Although they will both be equipped with “PlayStation-exclusive features,” such as automatic HDR tones display, automatic genre mode and VRR, the technical specifications of these two models are quite different.

The lower-end model will come with a 1080p 240Hz panel with a maximum brightness of 400 nits. The more expensive model increases the resolution to 4k (but reduces the refresh rate to 144 Hz) and also increases the maximum brightness to 600 nits.
