Following the events of the original Spider-Man game and the Miles Morales DLC, Spider-Man 2 puts the players in control of both Peter and Miles as they fight together to protect New York from new and familiar threats. As the battle-hungry Kraven hunts villains and heroes alike in search of a worthy opponent, a new evil has covertly infected those closest to Spider-Man, including Peter Parker himself.
While the two Spider-Men fight to defend the city that was thrown into chaos by Kraven and his hunters, the symbiote Venom carefully takes root in the darkness, working toward a much bigger goal of total domination. Peter and Miles have never faced a challenge quite like this before and will need to discover hidden strengths and combine their powers to save New York from these formidable foes.
