Starfield’s massive galaxy has over 1,000 planets to explore, each with various biomes and orbits all open to explore. With such an expansive map, it’s easy not to find all the more detailed areas, such as hidden outposts and forgotten cities.
While the game’s main story and various faction quest lines take players throughout many planets, some areas will just require some exploration to stumble across. One of these lesser-known locations is the Vulture’s Roost, which is easy to find for those who know where to look.
Where To Find Vulture’s Roost
Vulture’s Roost is located in the Jaffa system, which is right next to the Porrima system with the Paradiso resort. It’s easier to reach this system coming from the north of the Starmap, but be sure to quickly jump through the Kryx system on a first pass-through as it is populated by the Crimson Fleet. The Jaffa system has a recommended level of 35, with Vulture’s Roost being located on Jaffa IV, the fourth planet from the sun. Vulture’s Roost is then one of the marked locations, with the player’s ship landing right in the middle of the hideout.
What’s In Vulture’s Roost
Vulture’s Roost is actually a well-hidden smuggling den for Ecliptic mercenaries. Upon landing, enemies will be close to the landing pad and can begin firing in just seconds. This hideout offers a great location to find mid-level enemies to fight, along with finding all sorts of loot that are locked away, so be sure to have a large supply of digipacks.
Throughout the base will be all sorts of locks to get through and an incredible amount of Contraband to find and take. This hideout also has a second landing pad, with the other one being further through the hideout and protected by additional powerful mercenaries. If players are able to reach the landing pad and clear it out, there will be a useful Class A ship called The Dagger ripe for the taking. This ship also has a shielded cargo hold, perfect for transporting all the stolen Contraband from this hideout.
