Each faction’s quest line in Starfield will have a main location that players will be returning to from time to time. For Constellation, the main story of the game, there are two locations, The Eye and the Lodge.
While the Lodge is located down in the major city of New Atlantis, The Eye is located elsewhere. Players will be traveling to the Eye often as this is the location where other Starborn Temples and artifacts are tracked.
Where To Find The Eye
The Eye is located in the major system of Alpha Centauri, towards the left side of the galaxy and right next to the Sol system. Within the Alpha Centauri system, look to the planet Jemison, the third planet from the sun. In orbit around the planet will be an icon with an eye, correlating to The Eye space station. Select this icon to travel to the area of space with the Eye and get within 500 meters before scanning the station and docking.
What Is On The Eye
For the first half of the Constellation storyline, The Eye will be where players can find Vladimir. Vladimir will be the NPC who gives new locations for Starborn Temples and Artifacts using The Eye to survey the galaxy. While Vladimir uses the Eye to survey, he will still request players’ aid in surveying various planets throughout the galaxy. After offering to help him do so, Vladimir will become the best merchant to sell Survey data to.
Later into the Constellation story will be a mission where players will need to decide if they are going to defend The Eye or The Lodge. While there will be some major effects to this decision, The Eye will still be a visitable location, but Vladimir will relocate to the Lodge, still being the best survey data merchant in the galaxy.
