While different faction quest lines take players to different planets, there are still hundreds out there not tied to any quests except for what can be found on the planet. One of those planets is Porrima III, which is the home of the Red Mile.

Where To Find Porrima III

Porrima III On The Galaxy Map & System Map

Porrima III is located in the Porrima system, which is four jumps to the left side of the galaxy from Alpha Centauri and only one system away from the Volii system. This system has a recommended level of 30 and is not owned by any major faction. Porrima III is the second planet from the sun.

What Is On Porrima III

Porrima III Being Scanned

Porrima III is a fairly basic planet to visit for the most part. It has a mostly safe environment with few dangerous hazards to worry about. There are 4 Flora and Fauna to be scanned, along with only one trait for those wanting to fully survey the planet. There are also five elements that can be mined: Water, Aluminum, Helium-3, Chlorine, and Lithium.

The gravity on this planet is fairly strong, so make sure not to fall from anything higher than your character’s usual jump height. Along the surface of the planet will be two points of interest to land at. One of them is randomly generated, like a civilian outpost or industrial outpost, while the other is the much more interesting Red Mile.

What Is The Red Mile

The Red Mile location in Starfield

The Red Mile is a dangerous and unique sport to be found in the galaxy that players can complete for credits and other rewards. The objective is simple: run to the crater’s center and activate the beacon, then run back. It should also be known that the crater is full of aliens that won’t stop hunting you down until you leave the crater and have claimed many victims before, giving it the name Red Mile.
