Far Cry 6: New Trailer & System Requirements (Video)

Far Cry 6 is the most recent video game of the Far Cry series, which is a franchise of first-person shooter games, all of which have been published by Ubisoft. With it’s official launch planned for October 7, Far Cry 6 is very much awaited by so many gamers.

To give gamers a better understanding of Far Cry 6, Ubisoft has released a trailer showing the features of the PC version. As shown in the trailer below, more information regarding graphic features and system requirements to download and play Far Cry 6 have been unveiled.

As it turns out, Far Cry 6 does not require the most powerful PC to run - which is reasonable, given the state of affairs in the hardware market.

Minimum System Requirements for Far Cry 6 on 1080p resolution; 30 FPS, low graphics settings

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.1 GHz / Intel Core i5-4460 3.2 GHz;
  • Video card: AMD RX 460 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960;
  • Video memory: 4 GB;
  • RAM: 8 GB (dual-channel mode);
  • Free space on the drive: 60 GB;
  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit).

Recommended system requirements (1440p, 60 FPS, maximum settings)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8 GHz / Intel Core i7-9700 3.6 GHz;
  • Video card: AMD RX 5700XT / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super;
  • Video memory: 8 GB;
  • RAM: 16 GB (dual-channel mode);
  • Free space on the drive: 60 GB;
  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit).

System Requirements “Ultra” (4K, 30 FPS, maximum settings)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700 3.6 GHz / Intel Core i7-9700 3.6 GHz;
  • Video card: AMD RX 6800 / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080;
  • Video memory: 10 GB;
  • RAM: 16 GB (dual-channel mode);
  • Free space on the drive: 60 GB;
  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit).

The devs also mentions that the game supports ray tracing technology; after release, HD textures will be available for download, plus in the menu you can customize the game in every possible way. Recall that the premiere of the shooter is scheduled for October 7.
