“Small, but not too small” is how one would describe Into the Breach, the hit turn-based strategy game from indie studio Subset Games. This year it turned four years old, but the authors have not finished polishing their brainchild – in the summer the game will be a lot of interesting things. Including a port to new platforms.
First, it is announced Advanced Edition – A free update that brings new missions, weapons, pilots, difficulty levels, and support for seven languages to the title. It’s scheduled to premiere on July 19.
Second, the same day will be the release of the mobile versions of Into the Breach. For the release of the game on iOS and Android we have to thank, oddly enough, Netflix. Of course, this version of the strategy game will be immediately available in Advanced form.
And finally, thirdly – especially for Nintendo Switch advocates, Subset Games team (with support from Fangamer) decided to release a boxed version of Into the Breach. Its release date, alas, is unknown.
