The Talos Principle 2 is a truly phenomenal puzzle game that will provide its players will numerous puzzles to wrap their brains around. The game will add more mechanics as players make their way through it to breathe new life into each area’s puzzles. While the tutorial is simple enough to not need any hints, players will collect Prometheus Sparks when they find themselves stumped.
To solve Placement, players will need to make use of a Driller as with previous puzzles in this area. However, this puzzle involves keeping the Driller in the same room the whole time and opening holes to shuffle other objects around it.
Placement – Get The Hexahedron
You will want to start by heading towards the Driller. This can be found set up between a Fan and a blue barrier. Once you pick up the Driller, turn to face towards the fan. Go around the corner on the left, and towards the bars of the room you see. Behind these bars will be a Connector you will need. Turn right and follow along this room to get behind it. On the other side of these bars is where you will see a special wall that you can use the Driller on to make a hole.
Once you do, you can take the Connector that is in the room. In the puzzle room, you will see the Progress Wheel behind a blue barrier. Just past this blue barrier is another special wall. Bring both the Connector and the Driller to this spot. Use the Driller to make a hole in this special wall and then place the Connector on the button inside this room. This will lower the barrier past the Fan where you found the Driller — which is where you will find a Hexahedron.
Placement – Access The Progress Wheel
Place this Hexahedron on top of the fan. Go back to the Driller, take the Connector off the button, and then stand behind the Hexahedron. Staring at the blue laser behind the barrier, walk backward, and then look up and to your left — you will see a blue sun. Use the Connector to select the blue sun and the blue laser. Now, place the Connector on top of the Hexahedron and turn on the Fan. The laser from the connector will hit against a special wall. Use the Driller to make a hole where this laser is touching. This will open the barrier that leads to the progress wheel.
