The Talos Principles 2 is not only filled to the brim with unique puzzles for you to complete, but also quests and adventures to go on as well. Many of these quests require you to find certain items in order to proceed.
Sometimes these items are close by, while others you’ll have to search a bit to find. Finding the schematics for the transporter can be a bit tricky as there are numerous places it could be. Luckily, you won’t have to travel as far as you think to find it.
Discovering Transporter Capsule
After solving the third set of tutorial puzzles, you will be sent to begin your journey. Upon reaching Jerusalem, you will already be asked to embark on a quest to a new area. When you arrive and land in the strange new area, you will find an underground passage nearby. After you go down the stairs, you will come to one more set of stairs before you notice there’s a transporter capsule. Unfortunately, it does need a component to get it working. You are then tasked with finding the schematics, so Melville can get the transporter up and running.
Finding Schematics
When you go back above ground, head around this structure, and you’ll see a building with a gold door. Wait until you get a transmission about some megastructure which will show on your compass. Follow your compass, but if you’re still confused about using the compass, if you follow the path on the other side of the underground transport system, you will first go straight, then veer to your right when it splits off.
At the second Y, you will veer left and notice this open-door cave structure. When you enter, go down the stairs on your left, then enter the door on your right. Interact with the palm reader and a screen will pop up with three options. There will be two options for notes on the TalosPrinciple and NoemaProject. The third option will be Schematic_5358. Once you obtain this schematic, Melville will thank you, and then attempt to get the transport system running which will bring you to a new location. In this new location, you’ll be working with various colors of lasers and solve difficult puzzles such as Self Sufficient.
Return To Transport System
After finding the schematics, walk back to the transport system. You will notice a new structure being created before your eyes from the swirling purple particles possibly related to the Prometheus Sparks. Interact with the pod, and you are now able to travel to the Grasslands Ring – East 1, the only destination.
