Wasteland Punk officially released on Android, what’s new?

The turn-based RPG Wasteland Punk has received its final version on Google Play, if the information from that marketplace is to be believed. Let’s see what it has to offer in 2022.

Wasteland Punk is a mobile project that came out on iOS in 2021 and on Android a few days ago; with an OBT for the game since at least 2020. Not much has changed since then – your group of survivors travels around the location and participates in turn-based battles with bots. It’s nice that there is no auto-fighting, at least at first. The character models are made in “live 2D” format, and rock is playing in the background.

Although Wasteland Punk builds itself into a classic RPG with dot-to-dot information about each hero, his stats, and his abilities, Fans of text-based games will also be pleased, because in Wasteland Punk, you can stumble upon a vehicle with two corpses and supplies, with almost every action in such moments accompanied by your choice.

The developers of Wasteland Punk promise a crafting system, construction, and a non-linear story. As for your squad, it can be a maximum of four people. In the bar, you can hire new recruits, improve the morale of existing fighters, or eavesdrop on rumors. In the workshop, you create new weapons and equipment. Only in the description is it silent about PvP. It is unlikely that this will be of interest to the mass user.
