The developers of Project EVO promised next-generation graphics on the Unreal Engine 5 engine. Turns out, smartphones don’t pull it off.
Project EVO is a Rust-type survival game, judging by the gameplay videos that appear on YouTube. That is, you and other players are teleported to a map that resembles PUBG: New State in size; graphics, by the way, are not far off, either. To make it easier for newcomers, the developers added tutorials with tips on how to create items, why you need a sleeping bag, and what to do if you’re knocked down.
Let’s start simple – the player “bludgeons” trees with his fist to collect wood and create an axe, and then a pickaxe to mine rocks. You can also ride a horse, and as for cars, they are often just a pile of metal. Of course, you have to watch your hunger and thirst levels, and build a shelter with a sleeping bag that will allow you to revive if you get killed; but if you have teammates, they can revive you.
By the way, if you do get killed and still don’t have a sleeping bag, you can resurrect nearby and run to the place of death to retrieve your lost items. And a little advice – use a horse in all situations, because it as in Skyrim can move over the mountains and steep cliffs.
Judging by the in-game hints, in Project EVO you have to look for certain “Embers” and put them into your squad’s common chest. According to this indicator the developers will make a ranking table, which is updated every day and gives rewards for your place. It turns out that the main task is to accumulate resources on the server.
