Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is the second installment of Fire Emblem Warriors, which itself is a spin-off of the main Fire Emblem game series. Three Hopes is part of an alternate timeline in which Byleth did not join Garreg Mach’s monastery. In his place is a new character named Shez, who takes Byleth’s place. Shez also acts as Byleth’s rival, and their presence greatly alters the outcome of some of the key events that were present in the original Three Houses timeline. One key difference is that the main events of the war take place earlier. In “Three Houses,” Bylet falls into a five-year coma and wakes up in a world immersed in war. In “Three Hopes,” Sches does not fall into a coma, and the main events of the story take place two years after the events at Garreg Mach Monastery.
