Sucker Punch studio vacancy announcements hint at a Ghost of Tsushima sequel

After the release of Infamous on PS4, Sucker Punch created Ghost of Tsushima, one of the best open-world games to come out of the last console generation. Now it looks like the studio is preparing a sequel.

Although Sucker Punch has yet to announce its next project, the company is recruiting. Job postings say that the team is working on an open-world stealth game with an emphasis on hand-to-hand combat, which is a great fit for Ghost of Tsushima.

The ads are specifically looking for “combat designers,” and they’re definitely going to have a big fight, as the original Ghost of Tsushima had some of the best melee combat I’ve ever seen in a video game.

Sucker Punch first released Ghost of Tsushima for PS4 in 2020 and then released an expansion and PS5 version in 2021. Rumors claim the game will eventually release on PC, similar to God of War, Uncharted, Horizon Zero Dawn and Spider-Man Remastered, but there have been no official announcements yet.
